Park Slope Again

This is about 8-1/2" x 11", done with pastels on sanded paper.

It was inspired by a painting by Casey Klahn.

The sanded paper I use is essentially "sandpaper" but made with archival materials. A fine layer of abrasive grit silk-screened onto stiff art paper. About eighty gazillion times the cost of hardware store sandpaper, of course. But it holds multiple layers of pastels without spraying with fixative.
