Cool sketch, Jan... and I love the photo of your Midori setup. Looks like you work it hard, and you have great results to show for! Did I tell you I got a Pelle a while ago? The notebook is fine, but I was very disappointed that it doesn't stay open flat like a Moleskine or S & B...kind of a deal-breaker for me, unfortunately, as far as sketchbooks go. But it makes a nice notebook. Looks like your Midori stays open flat while sketching?

Stays open flat while sketching? Yes and no. The handmade sig insert does but the Midori "Kraft" insert often does not, hence the little binder clip that you see in the upper right hand corner of this pic.
You mean that the whole leather cover of the Pelle won't stay open? That is definitely not a problem with the soft and floppy Midori!

Hmmm, maybe my Pelle is no worse than your Midori in terms of staying open. I guess I just got used to how nicely Moleskines behave.
